Welcome to the official website for Singer/Actor Matt Whalen. Matt was born and raised in Naperville, IL where he graduated from North Central College with a B.A. in Musical Theatre. Since then, he has worked with such theatres as Light Opera Works, First Folio Theatre, Buffalo Theatre Ensemble. Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, Signal Ensemble Theatre, Jedlicka Performing Arts Centre, and Music By the Lake.
He has also done solo or professional choral singing for St. Peter and Paul Church (Naperville), Immaculate Conception (Elmhurst), St. Philip the Apostle (Addison), and Aurora University.
**In August, Matt will play the role of Boolie Werthan in the play "Driving Miss Daisy" with Harper Ensemble Theatre directed by Kevin Long.**
He currently lives in Woodridge with his wife, Jill.
